THE POSITION

• Develop a fresh and enticing food and retail offer that is commercially viable and drives increased sales and participation rates
• Oversee culinary operations across multiple venues on the one site
• Develop & mentor the team to deliver the highest possible standards
• Engage with the client on functions, events and the general direction of the food offer that reflect the environmental sustainability philosophy of our client
• Manage stock control & costs in line with business requirements and agreed budgets
• Ensure optimal rostering and workforce planning
• Maintain a high standard of food safety and OHS Requirements
• Ensuring expectations of premium service are consistently met

THE PERSON

• An experienced Chef with capability to run multiple outlets and differing types of service from large scale functions and events, retail and restaurant
• Will be a positive, supportive and ambitious leader experienced in carrying out personal development plans, staff training sessions and appraisals
• Will possess a keen eye for detail, quality and presentation standards
• Develops effective relationships with individuals at all levels, from diverse backgrounds, cultures and locations
• Will be self-motivated and an excellent communicator
• Ability to work in a fast paced and high demanding role while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
• Be willing to adapt to last minute requests with a positive attitude on a day to day basis
