ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
The Position
- Prepare and produce mouth-watering dishes across all sections to high standards while adhering to dietary requirements and guest preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours
- Adapt to different environments and kitchens while consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences
The Person
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate
- Must have knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques
- Have strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
- Be flexible to work on a FIFO/DIDO roster, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
