As we gear up for this game-changing project, we're on the lookout for talented individuals within our ranks to step up and take on both culinary and customer-facing roles that will shape the future of sports and entertainment.
The Position
- Lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for retail offerings, ensuring consistency and guest satisfaction
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, maintaining compliance with service standards, company policies, and operational procedures
- Manage and Mentor large team of chefs
- Utilise advanced culinary skills to create dishes that not only meet high standards of taste but also enhance the overall dining experience for guests
- Play a key role in the execution of the Australian Open 2025
- Identify menu requirements based on customer needs and event themes
- Implement catering control procedures (portion control, stock control, food storage)
- Ensure adherence to food safety procedures
- Set and exemplify high standards of performance and conduct
The Person
- Trade qualified chef
- Minimum of four (4) years of documented work experience with references demonstrating expertise and experience
- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing teams within a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Previous menu and nutrition planning
- A good understanding of operating a catering operation within strict budgetary constraints
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a focus on optimising efficiency and productivity
- Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining operational excellence
- Strong presentation and communication skills in English, adept at conveying directives and fostering teamwork
- Availability for flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
