FIFO Trade Assistant - Casual

Casual $33.28 Gross Per Hour + Penalties + Allowances + Super. Shifts will usually be 12 Hours, with 11 hours paid.

Our end to end facilities management and project management services ensure that your infrastructure is put in place smoothly and efficiently.

We are seeking internal team members that are eager to take on the role of Trade Assistant within Compass Group Australia, Delta FM portfolio. The role will be conducting maintenance tasks on our remote accommodation villages. There is potential for Full Time positions should they become available. As this role is Casual, only current Casual Team members with Full Working Rights will be considered.

THE POSITION

• Reporting directly to our WA Scheduler
• Conducting general maintenance tasks on our Delta FM sites to keep our Accommodation Villages operational and safe
• Working amongst an established Trades team including Electricians, Plumbers, Refrigeration Technicians & Maintenance Managers
• Working away for 14 Days at a time, and being home for a minimum of 7 Days for R&R. Works can be across any of our 14 WA Sites

THE PERSON

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Current Australian C Class Manual Drivers Licence, White Card & Australian National Police Check within 12 months
• Full Working Rights within Australia
• Proven experience that you are well-versed in maintenance processes and workplace health and safety regulations
• Trade Assistant &/or Experience in working with power and hand tools is a must
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Access to FIFO from Perth Airport
