We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our Defence team in Sydney. This full-time role is based at Randwick Barracks and offers the opportunity to work in a structured, team focused kitchen environment delivering consistent, high quality meals.
THE POSITION
• Prepare and cook high quality buffet style meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Support kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries and storage
• Maintain food safety, HACCP and allergen compliance at all times
• Follow workplace health and safety standards and minimise waste
• Work as part of a team to deliver consistent food quality in a fast paced environment
THE PERSON
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience in commercial kitchens or bulk catering environments
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen standards
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation
• Reliable, team focused and able to work in structured environments
• Able to obtain a National Police Check
