The Position

As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting Delta FM and Foodbuy teams by providing specialist advice and hands-on support to the Safety Leader, across health, safety, environment and quality. You will partner closely with the Safety Leader to implement Compass Group’s HSEQ management systems at site level.

In this role, you will:

• Support the implementation of safety systems, procedures and site-specific documentation
• Monitor compliance with legal and Compass Group HSEQ requirements
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and assurance activities
• Deliver safety training, inductions and coaching across site teams
• Identify hazards, drive corrective actions and implement improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with operational teams, clients and stakeholders

The Person

You are a proactive safety professional with a passion for creating safe and compliant workplaces. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident influencing stakeholders at all levels.

You bring:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher)
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safety systems
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Experience in risk management, incident investigation and safety program delivery (desirable)
• The ability to build relationships and drive a positive safety culture
