FIFO Trade Assistant – Casual - South Australia

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for FIFO Maintenance Trade Assistant to join the Delta FM South Australia Team. Scope of work would be conducting general maintenance tasks on our Delta FM sites to keep our Accommodation Villages operational and safe. Working among an established Trades team, assisting Electricians, Painters, Plumbers, Carpenters, Refrigeration Technicians & Maintenance Managers. We have two types of positions available in South Australia, Full Time 14&14 Days Only, or Casual - as below.

THE PERSON

• Based in South Australia and able to FIFO from Adelaide Airport or DIDO nearby to Roxby Downs
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
• Confident/self-sufficient in using Hand & Power Tools, with a Handyperson or hands-on work experience background
• Aware that in the recruitment process we will eventually do a reference check with your current team leader
• Undergo a Video or Face to Face Interview with the DeltaFM Management team
• Current Australian Working Rights, Valid Australian Drivers Licence, White Card, Police Check within 12 months

THE ROSTERS

1. FIFO Casual FIFO up to 14 Days at a Time - Rates from $37.28 Gross Per Hour + Penalties

• Working up to 14 Days on site, with a minimum of 7 days at home thereafter. 154 Hours + 3 Hours Travel time per swing
• Works can be sporadic, works are received as per site based requirements
• Able to work in your current contract, as well as DeltaFM

• Fortnightly Pay with Above Award Wages
• Only current Compass Casual staff will be considered for FIFO Casual roles

2. FIFO 14&14 Full Time      $84,961 Gross Per Year + Allowances + Super

• Limited full time positions available
• Rosters are exclusively full time permanent ongoing, 14&14 Days only
• Fortnightly Pay with Above Award Wages
• $1,500 Annual Retention Bonus in December, if full time prior to July
• Entitlements including Paid Parental Leave, 25 days of Annual, Sick Leave
• Current Casual or Full Time Compass staff will be considered for FIFO Full Time roles
