Assistant Workforce Manager

This role is responsible for driving labour optimisation, workforce planning, and rostering for value across Levy operations at Melbourne Park. As an Assistant Workforce Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our workforce is planned, scheduled and deployed effectively to meet operational demands while delivering strong commercial outcomes.

The Position

• Develop and maintain workforce forecasts aligned to operational demand and event activity.
• Optimise rosters to balance service levels, productivity and labour costs.
• Monitor labour performance, providing reporting and insights on trends, variances and opportunities.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial and Recruitment teams to support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Drive consistent use of workforce systems, processes and rostering best practices.
• Support workforce coordination across business-as-usual operations and major events, including the Australian Open.

The Person

• 2–3 years' experience in workforce planning, rostering, labour optimisation or workforce systems.
• Strong knowledge of labour forecasting, scheduling and labour cost management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and event-driven environment.
