ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced Casual Chef to join our team supporting Air HQ Australia ESS- Defence Site. This role will require flexibility to work across both locations based on operational requirements, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working as part of a wider Defence hospitality team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and cook high-quality meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and functions.
• Work across RAAF Glenbrook and Defence Establishment Orchard Hills as required.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ensure food quality, presentation and portion control standards are consistently achieved.
• Support kitchen operations, including stock control, deliveries and food storage.
• Assist with menu execution and daily food production.
• Follow allergen management and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team.
