Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record of delivering world-class hospitality experiences across some of Australia's most prestigious corporate, cultural, and private venues. We are currently seeking an experienced Private Chef to support a high-profile client in Perth, creating memorable dining experiences for intimate gatherings, executive entertaining, and special events.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented chef with a passion for fine dining, premium produce, and personalised service. Flexibility is essential, as shifts will vary depending on event schedules, functions, and client requirements.

THE POSITION: 

  • Deliver exceptional fine dining experiences for private functions, executive entertaining, and special events
  • Create innovative menus showcasing seasonal ingredients and premium local produce
  • Prepare and present restaurant-quality dishes to the highest standards
  • Manage all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations during events
  • Work independently while maintaining a highly professional and discreet approach
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, allergen management, and compliance standards
  • Provide a premium customer experience with attention to detail and personalised service

THE PERSON:

  • Qualified Chef with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in fine dining restaurants, hatted venues, luxury hotels, or private chef environments
  • Exceptional culinary skills with strong knowledge of contemporary cuisine and premium ingredients
  • Experience designing and delivering high-quality degustation, plated, and bespoke dining experiences
  • Ability to adapt menus and services to varying event styles and guest requirements
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and a discreet manner
  • Thorough understanding of food safety, HACCP, and OH&S requirements
  • Current Australian working rights
