THE POSITION

• Assist with basic food preparation and presentation of food
• High volume washing and sanitising of dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across kitchen, dining and service areas, including deep cleaning duties
• Receive, unpack and organise stock deliveries and supplies
• Follow strict food safety and WHS standards in line with company protocols
• Support chefs and the wider catering team as required

THE PERSON

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen hand or hospitality environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Enjoy working as part of a team in a busy environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
