What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals to a high standard
• Follow food safety, HACCP and hygiene requirements
• Support specialised dietary and texture-modified meal requirements
• Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen environment
• Work collaboratively with the wider catering and care team

What You'll Bring

• Previous cooking experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare or hospitality
• Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety requirements
• Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
• Experience with IDDSI guidelines is highly regarded
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow direction and work within established procedures
• Flexible approach to shift changes and additional shift coverage
• Comfortable using digital devices such as tablets or iPads
• Australian working rights
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
