THE POSITION

  • Based in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide. 
  • Injury management role reporting to the National Manager – Work Health.
  • Team of highly motivated, performance-driven Allied Health and Workers Compensation professionals.
  • Support multiple business sectors (Offshore and Remote; Aged Care; Business and Industry; Education; Hospitals; and Defence) in the areas of injury management and pre-employment screening services.
  • Strategic case management of workers compensation claims and fitness for work cases to drive timely return to work outcomes.
  • Conduct pre-employment screening services.
  • Drive positive safe deployment outcomes through the development of appropriate risk management strategies.
  • Build strong relationships and manage service providers.
  • Coach and mentor internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate system and legislative compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nationwide initiatives and projects to reduce impact of injuries.

 

THE PERSON

  • Allied Health Qualification (preferably OT, Physio).
  • 3 years minimum experience as a rehabilitation consultant, injury management advisor or similar.
  • Sound knowledge of workers compensation, injury management and workplace rehabilitation.
  • Outcome focused, self-motivated and proactive with a desire to make a difference. 
  • Possess good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a strong team.
  • Ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess good communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented.
