We are looking for a talented Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in our Education sector based in Lesmurdie 

The Position

  • Plan, supervise, and monitor food production for residential-catering, functions and events
  • Maintain effective customer and client relationships
  • Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training both FOH and BOH staff
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
  • Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS

The Person

  • Previous Chef Manager with a Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery 
  • Experienced in bulk cooking and large functions catering
  • Experienced in managing 10+ employee's 
  • Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
  • Exposure to budgets and BOH systems
  • Passion for training & empowering others
  • Have a current Working With Children Check or able to obtain
