THE POSITION

  • Enhance Operational Excellence by improving contract delivery and financial viability across our sites.
  • Assess and support underperforming locations to overcome challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive a safety culture across all operational practices.
  • Collaborate with State Managers to create sector-specific training for new Site Managers and leadership roles including but not limited to, commercial forecasting, safety induction, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide Business Insights by sharing learnings and challenges with the General Manager to identify solutions for improvement.
  • Assess resource needs at the site level to meet operational objectives.
  • Develop and distribute operational instructions to support all levels of operators.
  • Engage strategically in site mobilisations, leveraging insights from past experiences.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to implement successful solutions for new contracts.
  • Promote Innovation through seeking opportunities to automate processes and implement tech-driven solutions.

THE PERSON

  • 5+ years in a leadership role within the services industry, with accountability across various functions.
  • Relevant degree in business, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent financial and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships.
  • Proven ability to research and evaluate key markets and opportunities.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and competing priorities.
  • Confident in presenting solutions and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adaptable in applying existing and emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
