The Position

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for retail offerings, ensuring consistency and guest satisfaction
• Develop and implement processes to streamline daily kitchen operations and enhance productivity across retail outlets
• Manage and Mentor large team of chefs
• Create and standardise recipes that ensure consistency in quality and portion sizes across all retail locations.
• Play a key role in the execution of the Australian Open 2025
• Collaborate  with the retail team to identify customer preferences and develop innovative menu items that align with market trends
• Develop menus and meal plans catering to dietary and cultural requirements
• Ensure that food is plated attractively to enhance visual appeal while maintaining consistency and cultural sensitivity

The Person

• Trade qualified chef
• Minimum of four (4) years of documented work experience with references demonstrating expertise and experience
• Proven track record in successfully leading and managing teams within a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Previous menu and nutrition planning
• A good understanding of operating a catering operation within strict budgetary constraints
• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a focus on optimising efficiency and productivity
• Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining operational excellence
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English, adept at conveying directives and fostering teamwork
• Availability for flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
