The Storeperson will be responsible for receiving, recording, storing, unpacking, and moving of goods in a loading dock environment, as well as driving and delivering to other locations. The successful person will also be responsible for all the cleaning in and around the food service storage areas. This role requires a physically fit individual applying a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of the equipment supplied to manage and move stock across the site.
THE POSITION
- Receive, record and store all food service deliveries whilst implementing the required procedures from the Food Safety Plan.
- Competently and safely load and unload trucks and containers daily
- Operation of special purpose vehicle and towing
- Accuracy in rotation of stock and competent in the monthly stocktake
- Monitoring stock to ensure only approved goods are received
- Maintaining an exceptionally clean, organised and safe work location
THE PERSON
- Previous experience in a similar role (no forklift use or licence required)
- Demonstrate a strong safety focus and follow company policies and procedures
- Display a strong safety focus to self and others
- Ability to work autonomously and self-manage their time effectively.
- DL - Driver Licence, must have full and valid Australian Driver Licence
- NPC - National Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain it)
- WWCC - Working With Children Check card holder (or be willing to obtain it)
- SEROLOGY- Provide a thorough staff health check / serology report (or be willing to obtain a serology report)
