We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our dedicated Morrison Living team at our Residential Aged Care Facility in Richmond, NSW. Home to 134 Residents, the kitchen provides meals daily, you will be on site Monday to Friday with the occasional need for weekends and public holidays.
THE POSITION
You will be responsible for oversite and provision of an excellent meal service inclusive of menu planning, catering, infrastructure management, ordering, continuously improved service delivery, and team management.
- Ensure you and your team operate as customer service leaders
- Manage and mentor catering staff, ensuring seamless service delivery
- Oversee compliance related to food safety, WHS and quality.
- Leading and motivating the team and be part of recruitment and training of team members
- Work collaboratively with the client and residents and their families, to ensure needs and preferences are met
- Ensure stock control and cost management delivers on budget
- Ensure residents specific dietary requirements are met at each service
- Work with your team to guarantee an amazing resident experience every day!
THE PERSON
- Experienced within Aged Care or broader healthcare environment
- Experienced in effective budget management and delivery
- Customer service champion and great communicator
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards relating to Aged Care and Food Services
- Passionate about continuous improvement, quality, and compliance
- Strong leadership and management experience
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dedicated team
- Possess a National Police Clearance and 2024 Flu vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Experience as a Chef is beneficial but not essential
