Our dedicated team are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team on a part time basis. This role will work shifts across the week but will at a minimum work Wednesday and Friday 9:30am-5:30pm. 

THE ROLE

• Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
• Serving Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea and Evening meals
• Following all Food and Safety procedures
• Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment
• Maintain stores and monitor stock where needed

THE PERSON

• Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector highly favoured, although not essential 
• Hold a current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 (or willing to be)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
