The Role
The coordinator will play a vital role across the complete employee journey supporting recruitment, retention, and high-volume scheduling for the Australian Open operation.
- Support the Levy Australian Open people strategy by attracting and retaining a diverse pool of employees.
- Partner with Hiring Managers, HR Managers, and the AO project team to understand business needs and candidate profiles.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage high-volume scheduling of interviews and candidate assessments, ensuring efficiency and timely communication with all parties.
- Work alongside People Operations and Workforce teams to ensure smooth workforce planning and scheduling for the AO operations.
- Assist in ongoing training initiatives, including open days, site-based training & assessments, and cross-skilling for various AO department streams.
The Person
- Excellent organisational skills, with a proven record of meeting deadlines
- Previous experience in high volume recruitment and/or rostering
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure the process runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in a diverse, high-energy sports environment.
