THE POSITION

  • Lead, direct and manage internal projects and packages of work across multiple service lines.
  • Ensure all work packages and projects meet regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including infection control, workplace safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop workflow to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality support services.
  • Respond to feedback from patients, staff, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Provide support and guidance to project team members and stakeholders to ensure that they have the necessary resources and information in relation to completion and acceptance works.
  • Ensure support to all patient services in a manner that prioritises patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the seamless delivery of services across the hospital.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each initiative, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Conduct specific reviews to maintain compliance and address any gaps promptly.

THE PERSON

  • A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, facilities management, or a related field is preferred but not essential for a manger with a proven track record.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple non-clinical support services in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hospital operations and patient-centred care principles.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital support services.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and demands in a dynamic hospital environment.
