Area Manager – Central QLD & NT (Remote Operations)

We’re seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead one of our flagship portfolios across Central Queensland and the Northern Territory.

The Role

As Area Manager, you will lead multi-site operations, driving performance, safety and growth across a complex remote portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and overseeing operations across multiple sites within a major contract portfolio
• Delivering consistent performance across safety, service quality, cost and people outcomes
• Embedding a strong, proactive safety culture with a focus on continuous improvement
• Building high-performing teams, fostering engagement, accountability and innovation
• Developing and strengthening strategic client relationships while identifying growth opportunities
• Managing contractual obligations and commercial outcomes in line with company standards and compliance requirements

About You

You are a confident, outcomes-focused strategic leader with strong operational and commercial capability in remote or industrial environments.

Your experience includes:

• Proven leadership across remote operations, village management or industrial services
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing, engaged teams
• Managing multiple sites, stakeholders and competing priorities in dynamic environments
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving sustainable performance
• A focus on innovation and continuous improvement within hospitality or facilities management
• Workforce management expertise, including recruitment, retention and rostering of large teams
• Demonstrated success in catering, accommodation or integrated services operations
