ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced Chef Supervisor to join our team at Singleton Military Area. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for chefs who enjoy leading teams, maintaining high standards and delivering quality food in a structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support kitchen team during daily service and functions
• Oversee food production, stock control and kitchen operations
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Manage menu execution, ordering and waste minimisation
• Ensure allergen management and dietary compliance

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in a Chef Supervisor or leadership role
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
• Well organised with ability to manage multiple priorities
