THE POSITION
- Coordinate and manage corporate functions, meetings and events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery across multiple venues
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication and ensuring exceptional service throughout the event lifecycle
- Develop detailed event briefs, run sheets and schedules while coordinating catering, AV requirements, room layouts and event logistics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and operational teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Provide on-the-day operational leadership and support for high-profile events, ensuring all functions are delivered to the highest standards
- Monitor venue presentation, operational readiness and event outcomes, identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience and improve service delivery
THE PERSON
• Proven experience in event coordination, venue management, or a similar operational role
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules
• Knowledge of audiovisual equipment, catering, and event technology is advantageous
